Those interested in being a Team Manager/Coach and/or Assistant Coach need to download and fill out the 2010 Little League Volunteer Application and bring to this Saturday's Try-Outs along with a copy of your driver's license.

Try-Outs This Saturday, Feb 6th for the following ages and divisions:

Baseball Ages 8 and up (Minor, AAA, Major, Pony) Tryouts Major Field

Minor (Ages 8 and 9) at 10:00am
AAA & Major (Ages 10-12) at 12:30 pm
Pony (Ages 13-14) at 2:30 pm

Softball Ages 7 and up (Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, Pony) check at Softball Lyda Field

Pinto and Mustang at Noon
Bronco at 2:00 pm

Make-Up Try-Outs will be held on Tuesday, Feb 9th at 6pm and Wednesday, Feb 10th at 6pm

Please attend ONE of these sessions

Little League Coach/Parent Seminars Feb 20 & 21

Northwest Littlle League is hosting a POSTIVE COACHING ALLIANCE training seminar the weekend of Feb 20th and 21st and has invited Balcones to participate.

All Balcones coaches are strongly encouraged to attend.

Feb 20^th – The Second Goal Parent “Developing Winners in Life thru Sports” – late AM or early afternoon

· Feb 21^st - Double Goal Coaching I– “Coaching Winners in Life” 1:00 PM

Feb 21^st - Double Goal Coaching II– “Culture, Practices and Games” 3:30 PM

The seminar will take place at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
More info will be provided soon.

Baseball/Softball Try Outs on Saturday, Feb 6th

All baseball players ages 8 and up and softball players 7 and up must attend a try-out evaluation session.

Baseball Ages 8 and up (Minor, AAA, Major, Pony) check in at Major Field

Minor (Ages 8 and 9) at 10:00am
AAA & Major (Ages 10-12) at 12:30 pm
Pony (Ages 13-14) at 2:30 pm

Softball Ages 7 and up (Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, Pony) check inat Softball Lyda Field

Pinto and Mustang at Noon
Bronco at 2:00 pm
Pony (no tryouts necessary)

Players are encouraged to attend on Saturday, Feb 6th. But make-up Try-Out sessions will be held on Tuesday, Feb 9th and Wednesday, Feb 10th also.

You must be registered to participate.
